Many of the shows left an impact on our minds we are unable to forget. But the credit will go to some particular characters who actually inspired us, taught us some life lessons and made us fall in love with them.
Lord Commander Jon Snow – Game of Thrones
Jon Snow is the most loved character from HBO’s TV series “Game of Thrones”. You can easily witness the craze of public when he came back from dead. Well thanks to Mellisandre and Ser Davos Seaworth. People are now more than happy as it is confirmed that he is a Targaryan and not a bastard. Well what happens in season 7 we will have to wait almost an year to find out.
Sherlock – Sherlock
Played by Benedict Cumberbatch the character of Sherlock has an impact on people inspiring them to observe little things and play intelligently. And yes “Stop boring me and think. It is the new sexy”
Glenn – The Walking Dead
The sweet Korean guy who started as a pizza delivery guy now one of the most important leader of the surviving lot from AMC’s The Walking Dead. Never thought he could impress a hottie like Maggie. Well I will pray he is not the one killed by Negan. They way he groomed over the period of time is really impressive. He could easily had a long term affair with Maggie but instead of that he married her. Sweet.
Barney Stinson – How I Met Your Mother
Although people hated the ending of HIMYM but they still love Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson. The womanizers and flirts regard him as their mentor. “Bro Code” and “Play book” are indeed some LEGENDARY pieces of knowledge.
Charlie Harper – Two and a half men
A charming jingle writer wearing three quarter shorts and living at a Malibu beach house can easily seduce any woman he want but when he is living with a good for nothing brother and his cute fat son things will obviously turn a lot. People loved the character of Charlie Harper and were really disappointed when he was fired from the show after season 8 due to drug abuse. He fell in love with Mia but refused to marry her at the altar when she asked him to get rid of his brother Alan Harper. That was really a heartbreaking moment for the fans when people saw the soft side of Charlie and love for his brother.
Joey Tribbiani – Friends
Where Barney had to write a complete playbook this guy “Joey” only needed three words “How you doin’?” Friends ended in 2004 but is still the best sitcom ever made and Joey being the most adorable character ever. He taught us to be happy always, love our friends and eat a lot.
Sawyer – Lost
Rugged hair, street fighter looks, open shirt and torn jeans, husky voice and highest level of attitude defines Sawyer from the famous TV series LOST. Although he was not in the lead role but still he is the most loved guy from the series. He also referred to Hurley as “Kong” and the lead female as “Freckles” and his own lady love as “Blondie”. His one liners were the best thing in that series.
Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf – Gossip Girl
The name of Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf is used to define CLASS. I wonder how the characters which are not in the lead role are still able to have such a lasting impact on people’s mind. Chuck Bass who turned from Bad Guy to Good Guy and Blair who turned from Bitch to sweetheart were meant to be together. The story of this couple convinced us to believe that if we are meant to be together, eventually we will be.
Daryl Dixon – The Walking Dead
I don’t know why girls fall for BADASS guys. Luckily Daryl is not a douchebag but indeed a badass. Always in a sleeveless shirt and with a crossbow he is unstoppable. He loved his brother but supported the right people.
Jesse Pinkman – Breaking Bad
A former junkie when teamed up with his chemistry professor to manufacture Crystal Meth which created boom in the state of Albuquerque. But Jesse was the first ever junkie with principles. He always did the right things and succeeded in winning the love of audience.
Ramsey Bolton – Game Of Thrones
A psychopath who cut off Theon’s penis turning him into Reek, raped the innocent Sansa Stark numerous times, stabbed his own father Roose Bolton in the heart, fed his step mom and brother to hungry dogs and killed Rickon Stark. Is there any need to explain more? He is one of the most loved villain in television history. He showed his leadership skills when he went with 20 good men to take a fort. His absolute best leadership skills were witnessed in the battle of bastards.
Ragnar Lothbrok – Vikings
The epic story of Ragnar Lothbrok, the son of a farmer who became the King Ragnar. His love triangle is actually confusing because if you have seen the show you will definitely agree that his 1st wife was the most beautiful and wild lady in the show and still he married that stone faced lady. Anyway we can’t judge his personal choice but people love his character and his immense fighting skills
Walter White – Breaking Bad
The true events of a terminally ill chemistry professor, Walter White, who teamed up with his junkie Student Jesse Pinkman to produce and sell crystal meth. You may not agree with his actions but he had reasons. He was terminally ill, had a disabled son and a newborn daughter. He showed that a man will do anything for his family. . . literally ANYTHING
Saul Goodman – Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
Saul Goodman created an impressive impact when he was in Breaking Bad and now he is excellent in Better Call Saul as Saul Goodman. Betrayed by his own brother who is not accepting him as a lawyer just because he studied online. Anyway there are two things we can learn from his character. He always did the right thing (at least he try) and secondly he got some soft corners too.
TyrionLannister – Game of Thrones
The iconic character of TyrionLannister is played by Peter Dinklage. He is a pure combination of charm, genius, sarcasm, honesty and love. A recent poll shows that he is currently the most loved character on television right now. And I think he is a Targaryen. He is a survivor. Hated by all his family members (except Jaime), his father and sister tried to get him executed but still he is surviving. He got brains. As he once said “That’s what I do. I drink and I know things”
Harvey Specter – Suits
The character of Harvey Specter, The best close of New York City, will actually inspire you to move for CLASS. I fell in love with his character when he showed the levels between “LIFE IS THIS – I LIKE THIS”. He never gives up he is loyal to his clients (to some extent). Well in my opinion he is a great mentor for Mike Ross.
Ted Mosby – How I met your mother
Ted Mosby is actually regarded as loser by many of HIMYM fans but if you have seen the whole of HIMYM the character of Ted was really a sweet guy. He was desperate for love and wanted to settle down but it took him 9 seasons to meet the mother, lost her in the same episode and went to his love from the pilot episode Robin. WTH. Anyway I am also a real life Ted Mosby so I am also waiting for the universe to take action for my life.
When I know I am missing a number of characters like from other famous serials Castle, House, Sons of Anarchy, House of Cards, Supernatural, Heroes etc but these are from the seasons I have seen so this pretty much sums up as per me.
