You are not allowed to sleep in peace:
Yes you have to learn to sleep in whatever situation no matter what because you are tired and sleeping is must.
The value of home cooked food:
“Ghar ka khanna” is what u will miss a lot.
The true value of “Ammi k hath k parathay” is realized when u are pushed to hostel.
Not that only
The frequent things being asked to be borrowed “the real sar dard”
“Sharing is Caring” but its only u who has to be qurbani ka bakra to lend things on top of that u don’t even have the audacity to say “no”
Whatever is yours is no more yours anymore as soon as u step hostel life…..
Suno yaar spoon hoga
Yaar saaf plate milay gi

To do list never gets done:
Hectic university routine life can make you lazier when you are living in hostel on your own. The work that has to be done never gets done on time and the whole universe cannot dare to mess with your sleeping routine let alone the suffering clothes from chair to bed and back to bed from chair.
Washing clothes but ending as them being stolen:
When you wash three paired suit and put it outside to soak but end up getting one pair. Yeah that’s hostel life for you better keep them inside to dry.
“Yaar meri shirt kon legaya utha k”
Musical orchestra at midnight’s:
Whistling and singing in the corridors
Going back home:
Surviving and going back home safe is a big deal when your one roommate is psycho.
But still you share the best memories with friends which lasts forever…. Except Ragging
