Scientists have just found the secret to eternal youth in people. They’ve researched and fount that a gene is responsible for some people’s youth. It’s the same gene which gives people red hair and fair skin.
Dutch scientists found those people who carried a variant of the MC1R gene appeared to look younger as compared to other people.
Professor Dr Manfred Kayser at Erasmus University Rotterdam said: “For the first time, a gene has been found that explains in part why some people look older and others younger for their age.
“Looking young for one’s age has been a desire since time immemorial. This desire is attributable to the belief that appearance reflects health and fecundity.
“Indeed, perceived age predicts survival and associates with molecular markers of ageing such as telomere length.
Note: The study was published in Current Biology.
Other scientists believe that Pineal Gland and Melatonin combat the process of aging.
In 1987, Dr. Rozencwaig (along with B.R. Grad and J. Ochoa) published a seminal paper in Medical Hypotheses (Vol. 23, pgs. 337-352), in which he expressed his theory that the progressive depletion of melatonin with advancing age is a primary cause of aging and age-related diseases such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease.
